The SatSafe platform is a combination of the Global Positioning System with any wireless communications network, including the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), common in Europe, and the Personal Communications System (PCS), common in the United States.
Through an application programming interface, users can utilize SatSafe devices as a business critical information management tool to deliver continuous updates on both position and condition of goods in transit.

The SatSafe System. The first elements of the SatSafe MLS system are the SatSafe Transponder, commonly referred to as a ‘tracker’, which is a combined GPS receiver and GSM transmitter. The unit, in combination with the GPS, enables gathering and forwarding of large amounts of information about the mobile unit, such as temperature, speed, alarms, etc. The SatSafe transponder uses a unique power saving algorithm that reduces power usage by 95 percent on the GPS unit, giving the transponder an unmatched combination of functionality, mobility and price.
The SatSafePRO App provides real time information that is received, stored, maintained and distributed according to the customer’s specific requirements. The customer can also communicate with and steer the transponder through the SatSafe App via the Short Message Service (SMS), a part of the GSM standard, to deliver and gather data from the tracker.
